What's the best method of cleaning a tattoo durinng the procedure

What is the best way to clean a tattoo while doing it? A very common questions with many different answers. Different people have different preferences.
Theres a 3 different ways to clean a tattoo that are popular and perfectly fine. Using wet wipes or baby wipes, watered down green soap and distilled water.

Cleaning a tattoo with wet wipes.

Wet wipes are probably the best method of cleaning a tattoo. But what sort of wipe is important. You should only really use green soap wipes or non acidic baby wipes. Don't use any wipes with alcohol, soap, disinfectants or any other subtances that may be harmful.

Cleaning a tattoo with green soap.

You can clean the tattoo with tincture of green soap either cosco or sanitec are fine. They should always be watered down to use to clean tattoo's. aprox 1 parts green soap to 8 parts water, cooled boiled water or distilled water is best. Distilled water is cheap as you can purchase a 4 litre bottle from the supermarket from $4.50. Cleaning a tattoo with straight tap water is not recommended as it can contain bacterias, chemicals, minerals, metals and foreign matter.

Cleaning a tattoo with distilled water

Cleaning a tattoo with distilled, demineralised water is great.. No chemicals, no minerals, no lavender or coconut, or vegetable oils, no foreign matter what so ever, one the best most purest forms of water. This will never cause an ellergic reaction.

When cleaning a tattoo with green soap or water its best to use a good quality spray bottle with a fine mist, a wash bottle is ok but not as efficient. DO NOT USE PAPER TOWELL OR CHEAP TOILET PAPER, you should use a good high quality tisse with no added smells or alo vera etc. The kleenex silk touch extra large are not too bad. Fold your tissue 3 times them 3 times the other way and you'll have a small piece thats super thick and soft. Spray the tissue then wipe the skin, not too hard or the tissue will break up.
