Do tattoos hurt

Do tattoos hurt?

You hear all sorts of statements. They burn, they sting, they hurt, or the tough nah they don't hurt to easy it was a breeze. That can be confusing. I myself have tattoos and to be honest they kinda hurt but i was able to block it out.

I guess it depends on each individuals pain tolerance and were the tattoo will be. Example when i got my leg and arm done it was not to bad, when i got my back tattooed it hurt. The outline felt sharp, i just wanted it over. Some people enjoy the pain it's like a massage or therapy as some say. Personally i believe it's got to do with body weight also. A skinny person is likely to feel more pain than the larger person. Also depends on what sort of tattoo your getting and how big it is. To start with the needles feel sharp and sometimes with the fine outlining it may feel like a razor blade. This feeling does not stay intense after some time your body ajusts slighly to the pain. once the outline is over and the colour starts it begins to go slighlty numb, the colour hurts much less because it goes in shallower. Depending on the size colour is a breeze but after a few hours the skin becomes raw feeling like a burn and you feel every wipe. The spray feels wicked but the wipe, aaarrrghhh it can sting.

Anyone that says tattoo's don't hurt at all lie. They hurt but it is bearable pain.
